Liverpool will be looking for a win over Manchester City to keep alive their slim hopes of European qualification.

City will travel to Anfield looking to build upon last weekend’s 5-0 win over Sunderland. Liverpool hope to bounce back quickly from last weekend’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of West Bromwich Albion and former manager Roy Hodgson.

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is ruled out for the rest of the season with a groin injury, while Daniel Agger, Glen Johnson and Martin Kelly are also sidelined for the Reds. Fabio Aurelio and Jonjo Shelvey are doubtful with injury and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.

Kolo Toure is suspended for City, while Jerome Boateng and Micah Richards are both sidelined with injury.
 

Wolverhampton Wanderers will be looking for points to escape the bottom three when they play host to Everton on Saturday. Wolves currently sit in the relegation zone one point adrift of safety, while Everton are nine points behind Tottenham Hotspur in the race for European qualification.
