About Foxsports.com

FoxSports.com is the official website of U.S. broadcaster Fox Sports, and it serves as an OTT platform for the network’s subscribers. It publishes various kinds of media content, including live and on demand streams to multiple sporting events throughout the year. FoxSports.com users may authenticate themselves via participating TV providers in USA, including AT&T U-verse, Xfinity, Cox, DirecTV, Dish, MediaCom and Optimum TV. Sports disciplines that FoxSports.com has covered over the years include American football, baseball, basketball, boxing, golf, motorsport, tennis, wrestling and soccer.

In 2019, following a major change in the distribution of content on Fox Sports’ streaming services, Big Ten Network streams switched from Fox Sports Go to the Fox Sports app, which mirrors the TV Everywhere experience provided by the network’s website. English-language channels FS1, FS2 and FOX, as well as Spanish-language network Fox Deportes, also moved their streams to the Fox Sports app—thus restricting Fox Sports GO to regional sports content only.

The official Fox Sports app is available in USA on both Android and iOS devices, as well as on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Xbox One and Chromecast. Live soccer matches and full replays streamed on the service are dependent on the soccer broadcast rights inherited from its parent company, as it simulcasts games from linear Fox Sports TV networks.

Major soccer leagues and competitions that have aired on Fox Sports’ OTT platform in the past include the German Bundesliga, US Major League soccer, Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana. It has also provided access to exclusive studio shows, as well as match highlights in high definition.

About Fox Sports Media Group

Fox Sports Media Group, commonly referred to simply as Fox Sports, is a division of the Fox Broadcasting Company in the United States. It was first launched in 1994 and has since grown to operate a vast array of national and regional sports television channels, as well as subscription-based OTT services.

Its regional stations provide in-depth coverage for some of the biggest sports franchises in the U.S. As a holder of major multi-platform sports broadcast rights, however, Fox Sports has benefited a lot from the existence of its Spanish-language channel Fox Deportes, which it has used to rival other networks such as Univision’s TUDN, NBC’s Telemundo and ESPN Deportes—all of which are targeted at Hispanics.

Soccer rights that Fox Sports has acquired over the years cover major international tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup, and even club competitions like the UEFA Champions League, Mexican Liga MX, and U.S. Major League Soccer. Some global media rights Fox Sports has inherited in the past were in fact negotiated through Fox International Channels, which oversees different Fox Sports networks operating in different continents.

Some of the exclusive streams in USA may be available via online streaming service Fox Soccer Match Pass, whereas FoxSports.com and the official Fox Sports app serve to add to the viewers’ experience by providing more ways of watching the games telecast by the linear TV networks.

Action from Fox Sports Regional Networks has a different digital home, nevertheless, and subscribers may enjoy their favorite regional teams’ games live and on demand on the Fox Sports GO platform.
