One more week of action will be taking place this weekend in the Argentine Primera División season, with all the big teams trying to regain the top spots and the so called underdogs ready to put up a fight.
As things stand, none of the top winners in Argentina are among the top six teams, meaning that clubs such as Gimnasia, Huracán, Unión or Independiente Rivadavia are leading the pack. The league leaders right now are Racing, but they are only ahead thanks to their performance in front of goal, which is something that could change overnight.
This will not be your typical weekend with all the games crammed in two days, as the Argentine top-flight has decided to extend the games all the way until Tuesday, giving fans more time to enjoy their favorite clubs.
Here is everything you need to know ahead of the second week of action in the Argentine championship.

Platense vs Boca Juniors - Los Xeneizes have not enjoyed a fine start of the season, but this time they get to face one of the teams still struggling to win their first match of the season. Platense have drawn their most recent two games, and facing Diego Martínez's team could be the right medicine to cure their winning drought. As for the away side, Martínez will try to tip the scales for Boca and with his personal record against Platense, which stands at three wins, one draw, and three losses.

San Lorenzo vs Sarmiento - Both of these teams are undergoing a very slow start, as neither of them has won a game after three rounds. San Lorenzo were supposed to be title contenders, but their current form does not support such a prediction. Sarmiento have lost three out of their last four against San Lorenzo, and if they are to end that winless run, this would be the proper time to do so.
