About

TUDN App history, coverage, features

The TUDN app is an online platform that allows viewers to stream the TUDN sports channel for free over the Internet. This means subscribers can watch live sporting events licensed to the Spanish-language sports channel from home or on the go via the TUDN app.

The TUDN app is available on both Android and iOS through the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. This enables viewers to watch live sports from the TelevisaUnivision-owned channel on Android smartphones and tablets, as well as on iPhones and iPads.

Not only can viewers stream live sports from TUDN on the TUDN app, but they can also access content from its TelevisaUnivision sister channels and networks. This includes Univision, Unimás, and TUDNxtra, TUDN’s overflow soccer streaming service that delivers live match coverage in Spanish and English (when available).

The TUDN channel is available 24/7 on the app. Additionally, viewers can stream all soccer matches live from TUDN and TUDNxtra through the TUDN app. To access the platform, viewers simply need to download the TUDN app from the Play Store or App Store before logging in with a TV provider that offers TUDN carriage.

Sporting events licensed to TUDN and its TelevisaUnivision sister channels and networks have featured prominently on the TUDN app. This includes Major League Soccer, which TUDN lost the rights to in the early 2020s, as well as Liga MX.

Major Concacaf tournaments, such as the Concacaf Champions League and Gold Cup, have also been available for streaming on the TUDN app, along with matches involving the USA and Mexico national teams.

However, the flagship tournament offered on the TUDN app is the UEFA Champions League, with TelevisaUnivision acquiring the Spanish-language U.S. rights (alongside the Europa League) in the 2018-19 season. TUDN also began airing the UEFA Conference League, previously known as the UEFA Europa Conference League, upon its launch in 2021 and renewed its rights deal with UEFA in 2023.
