The Spanish boss, expected to announce his departure from Bayern this weekend, joined by Atletico's coach, are reported to be the front-runners to take Mou's former job with the Blues

Roman Abramovich's decision of ending Mourinho's second era with the Blues has also sparked another debate: Who will be next in line inside Chelsea's dugout? While some top coaches are available, it seems that the Russian billionaire has his mind set on two targets, both currently under contract.

Sources indicate that Pep Guardiola and Diego Simeone have already been offered to take the Blues' coaching job, but there are a number of issues that are keeping both tacticians away from Stamford Bridge. Here's how things have been circling around each of these talented bosses.

Pep Guardiola

The former Barcelona coach, currently working with Bayern Munich, has been linked with a switch to the Premier League ever since he stepped down as Los Blaugranas' tactician. The Spanish boss is expected to reveal if he will extend his contract with the Bavarian side, or if he will choose another team to continue his career. With the second scenario already in motion, sources claim that Guardiola would choose one of Manchester's teams to continue his coaching career, but Abramovich's decision and economic power could end up changing his mind.

Guardiola was offered Chelsea's coaching job right after the Blues won the UEFA Champions League back in 2012. Nevertheless, Pep chose to take a sabatical in New York City and continued his career with Bayern. This time around, sources near the Catalan boss have revealed the coach would think it twice before joining Chelsea, since he told Abramovich's crew that he would need to sign at least ten players for the current Premier League champions in order to guarantee suitable results.

Guardiola is expected to announce the end of his partnership with Bayern Munich this weekend.

Diego Simeone

The Argentinean boss, responsible for Atletico Madrid's resurgence, became one of the most-coveted managers in European football after leading Los Colchoneros to their second-ever UEFA Champions League final. Simeone's intense style of coaching, added to his connection with his team's supporters back in River Plate and Atletico, represent an interesting recipe for any team that wants to shake things up without making many changes to a squad.

Nevertheless, sources near the South American boss revealed that the coach is having second thoughts about signing with the Blues, given that he remains unconvinced about his possible success coaching a Premier League side. Furthermore, Simeone's contract with Atletico ends in 2020, and the Blues would have to spend at least 15 million pounds.

Simeone led Atletico Madrid to its first La Liga title in 19 years back in 2014.
