Telemundo will celebrate the start of the two-year countdown to FIFA World Cup 2026 with a special broadcast featuring the USMNT against Brazil live on Telemundo, Universo, and Peacock. The game is set to take place at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

The return of the quadrennial competition after 30 years will mark a milestone in world football, with multiple hosts and an expanded format for the tournament, who are set to bring the best games to all fans across Telemundo and Peacock, the exclusive Spanish-language home of FIFA in the United States.

Wednesday's game will also be used to start a new era in Telemundo's broadcasts with the World Cup in mind.

"From promotional spots to activations at Universal Theme Parks and programming takeovers, Telemundo kicks off the countdown to what promises to be the largest sporting event in the world," Eli Velázquez, EVP, Sports, NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises stated.

Meanwhile, the game is set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, with Telemundo's coverage including their all-start lineup of hosts and in-game personalities. Carlota Vizmanos and Copan Alvarez will host the broadcast, while Andrés Cantor will take care of the play-by-play comments. Additional in-game analysis will be provided by former Mexican national team midfielder Manuel Sol and USMNT Hall of Famer Tab Ramos.
