FC Twente’s future in Europe has been revealed. Tonight’s Champions League match against Tottenham Hotspur will be their last in the competition this season as they are set to play in the Europa League.
However, desire to defeat Tottenham Hotspur still burns for the Dutch side. In the first leg of this tie, Twente were humiliated 4-1 at White Hart Lane.

Now, according to defender Roberto Rosales, all they want is to heal the wound created by that heavy loss. When asked about his views ahead of the Spurs match, the 22-year-old told UEFA.com:

“Revenge for the away match against Spurs? Well, we were disappointed after that game, and tomorrow we want to win.

“We will never forget that match. We played a good game.

“If possible, I’ll try to go forward against Spurs. But, that depends on the situation. The away match gave us opportunities to attack. But then, we’ve got to watch out for Spurs’ attacking strength.

“They are a good team. However, we also want to get a good result in our last Champions League match.”

Whatever the result tonight, Twente have been guaranteed tickets for the Europa League. A win for the Dutch, however, will help Inter Milan win Group A ahead of the Champions League's Last 16 stage.
