Struggling Metz in for long and difficult evening against PSG

So far, it's been a miserable start to the season for Metz and it looks like it will be a long evening for the hosts on Friday. They've yet to win any of their first four games and sit bottom of the table after losing all four of those matches. During that run, they've also scored just one goal, whilst conceding seven, and given that they haven't beaten PSG since 2006, it looks like they will be in for a rough 90 minutes when Les Parisiens come to town on Friday.

As for PSG, they've had a flying start to the campaign, with a perfect winning record thus far. Unai Emery's men are aiming to recapture the Ligue 1 title after Monaco pipped them to it last term, and now have further bolstered their attack by securing the signing of Kylian Mbappe on loan from Monaco. The young French attacker is expected to be deployed alongside fellow new signing Neymar and last season's top goalscorer Edinson Cavani in an exciting front three that is surely set to set Ligue 1 - and Europe - on fire this season.

Broadcast info - Nice vs Monaco

Who's playing: Monaco might have lost quite a few stars this summer, but Les Rouges-et-Blancs are still going strong, and they will aim to keep up their good run as they travel to face Nice on Saturday evening.

What time: Saturday, September 9th at 08:00 PST/11:00 EST/15:00 GMT/16:00 BST/17:00 CET

What stadium: This match will be played at the Stade de Nice. Also known as the Allianz Riviera, this venue can seat up to 35.624 fans for football matches.

Monaco looking to keep up strong start to the season in derby clash

Last season was a good one for Nice, but things haven't gone so well thus far for Lucien Favre's side. Nice are out of the Champions League after being eliminated by Napoli during a two legged play-off, and despite finishing in third spot in Ligue 1, Les Aiglons are now struggling. They've won just one game thus far and that includes a shock defeat to a newly promoted Troyes. Given that Nice are in European action next week, Favre could opt to rotate his squad somewhat, but at the same time, he will not want to drop points in this fixture as they want to start working their way up the table.

Despite losing Bernardo Silva, Benjamin Mendy and Tiemoue Bakayoko, as well as now Kylian Mbappe, Monaco are still going strong. Radamel Falcao has netted seven goals, which sees him on top of the Ligue 1 scoring charts and now the team have added some attacking reinforcements in the form of Lazio's Keita Balde Diao and Sevilla's Stevan Jovetic, although neither new signing may feature. Falcao, however, could be rested with an eye on Monaco's European clash with RB Leipzig next week.
