Setanta Sports remains the exclusive LaLiga broadcaster in multiple Baltic and Eurasian territories following a five-year extension deal. The pay-TV provider’s contract covers the 2021-22 to the 2025-26 LaLiga seasons. For the Baltics, the countries included under Setanta’s umbrella include: Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Meanwhile, the Eurasian countries are: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
Subscribers in these countries can watch LaLiga games on Setanta Sports’ linear channels, including Setanta Sports 2. In addition, fans can stream matches live and on-demand on different screens, depending on their preference. Subscribers can download the Setanta Sports App from Google Play or the App Store to stream LaLiga games on mobiles and tablets. On desktop and laptop computers, streaming is accessible in web browsers after going to Setanta Sports’ streaming webpage. Meanwhile, on select smart TVs (Android, LG, and Samsung) fans can download the Setanta Sports App from their TV’s Application Store after visiting the network’s main website.
Additional features available to subscribers include a screencast feature to share streams from any device to their smart TVs. However, both devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Furthermore, LaLiga fans can also watch some games in multiview on larger devices (smart TVs and computers), which allows viewers to stream more than one game simultaneously.
