Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group) has acquired multi-platform English Premier League rights in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, in a deal that runs from 2022 to 2028. Live EPL streaming will be available on Viaplay – the leading online video streaming service in the Nordic region. Live Premier League matches and full replays may also be aired on NENT’s pay-TV and free-TV channels. The deal marks the first broadcast rights agreement for the Premier League’s cycle starting with the 2022-2023 season, and it also marks the first time a European broadcaster has secured EPL rights for a six-year period.

Amazon has secured non-exclusive English Premier League digital media rights in Denmark and Sweden from 2024 to 2028. The retail conglomerate successfully negotiated a sub-licensing arrangement with Viaplay, which allows Amazon Prime Video to stream one live English Premier League match per round exclusively via its Prime Video service. In total, fans in Denmark and Sweden can watch 38 Premier League games each season from the 2024-25, 2025-26, 2026-27, and 2027-28 campaigns.

Amazon’s exclusive EPL streaming coverage focuses on each of the early Saturday matches (kick-offs at 13:30 CET), with match commentary offered in both Swedish and Danish. Subscribers to Amazon Prime in Sweden and Denmark can stream all 38 Premier League matches live per season on Prime Video via mobile phones, smart TVs, tablets, and computers for no additional cost.

In Denmark, fans can watch live Premier League matches on V Sport Ultra HD, available on both TV and streaming platforms. Coverage is confirmed for seasons 2022-2028.
