Thanks to a win on matchday 16, coupled with a draw for Porto, Benfica have now extended their lead to six points. Is the title race over already in Portugal? Not necessarily. There are still plenty of more games left to go. Sporting Braga in particular continues to try to break into the ranks of the "Big Three" as they presently sit in third; they could go second with a win on Monday if Porto lose on Sunday. Meanwhile, Sporting CP continue to try to rebound and claw their way back up the table after a few bad results earlier this season.
