ČT Sport history, coverage, features
CT Sport is a free-to-air television channel available in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.The channel was launched in 2006 as CT4 Sport, and it was also called CT4 for four years between 2008 and 2012 before it was rebranded as CT Sport.
Over the years, the channel has provided households in these two countries with free access to major live sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Europa Conference League.
The channel has also produced football highlights and magazine shows over the years, related specifically to the Czech National Football League and the Czech Cup.
CT Sport can be watched directly on linear television in the Czech Republic and Slovakia via channel 21, while it can also be live-streamed through the CT Sport app. This can be downloaded for free onto iOS and Android devices.

ČT Sport is owned and operated by Česká televize.
Česká televize (ČT) is the public-service television broadcaster in the Czech Republic. It was established on 1 January 1992 following the dissolution of Czechoslovakia and the split of Czechoslovak Television. ČT operates several nationwide channels, including ČT1, ČT2, ČT24 (news), ČT :D (children), ČT art (culture), and ČT Sport, which focuses on sports programming. ČT Sport broadcasts a range of sporting events, including football, and is available both via terrestrial television and online. Live streams and on-demand content from all ČT channels are accessible through the broadcaster’s digital platform, iVysílání. Česká televize is funded through television license fees and operates under the oversight of a council appointed by the Czech Parliament.
