CTV App history, coverage, features
The CTV App is a digital streaming service owned and operated by Bell Media. It was launched in November 2013 under the name “CTV GO” and provided streaming access to CTV and its sister network CTV 2. In July 2020, the app was reformatted and rebranded as the CTV App and is only accessible to users based in Canada. Viewers can download it for use on mobiles and tablets (both Android and iOS), streaming devices (Roku, Chromecast), and on computers in web browsers.The CTV App provides English-language streams (both live and on-demand) of CTV’s content. In addition to games from various football competitions (such as the World Cup and MLS), the CTV app also offers clips and highlights to bolster CTV’s comprehensive linear and digital coverage for viewers throughout Canada.
