Serie A - Matchday 35 overview
Juventus will come into their tie with Torino having effectively booked their spot in the Champions League finals. The Bianconeri scored two crucial away goals against Monaco, and given their very strong record at Juventus Stadium, it will take a miracle for Les Rouges-et-Blancs to recover. Now, they will have to turn their attention back to domestic affairs as they welcome the Granata for the latest installment of the Derby della Mole.
Torino, being a bitter rival of Juventus, will love nothing more than to spoil the impending celebrations for Allegri's side. Roma, meanwhile will certainly be hoping that the Granata can halt La Vecchia Signora, especially as they lock horns with the Bianconeri next week. The Giallorossi will be keen on rebounding after a loss to Lazio in the Derby della Capitale, but they will traveling to face a side equally as desperate for points as the Rossoneri hope to make a return to Europe next season. With Atalanta five points ahead, it's all or nothing for Vincenzo Montella's squad.
Napoli will kick off matchday 35 with a tie against Cagliari. Both the Partenopei and the Rossoblu have their defensive flaws, which could make this a more open game. Napoli are just one point behind Roma in the race for a runners-up spot, and with the Lupi facing a tough game against the Diavolo, could find themselves moving into second by the time this round ends.
Crotone sit four points behind Empoli and have a great opportunity to pick up three points against Pescara. The Squali suddenly have sprung to life, but will it be enough?
