Team news
Chelsea know that they must win this game. With Tottenham only four points behind in second, the league leaders must do away with Southampton or risk losing the title.
The Blues will enter this fixture on a high, having beaten Spurs 4-2 in the FA Cup semi-final to book their spot in the ultimate game – where they will face Arsenal. Furthermore, several star names are expected to return to the starting lineup.
Two of those are Diego Costa and Eden Hazard. The Spaniard and Belgian were both benched for the Wembley game, but should reclaim their spot in the squad. In addition, Gary Cahill has recovered from gastroenteritis and could start on Tuesday.
Matt Targett and Charlie Austin are both unavailable for the visitors. They join Sam McQueen (groin), Virgil van Dijk (foot), and Alex McCarthy (hamstring) on the sidelines.
