Bundesliga - Matchday 15 overview
Although they were founded only seven years ago, RB Leipzig has not been intimidated since forcing their way into the top tier at the end of last season. Die Bullen made an excellent start to their debut Bundesliga campaign, which saw them set a new record for the most unbeaten games (13) by a debutant side.
However, that came to an end at the hands of none other than Ingolstadt, who are another team who were founded within this century, and who are facing relegation as they sit in 17th spot. Leipzig will now hope to rebound as they take on Hertha Berlin, who themselves have been enjoying a pretty successful campaign under the radar.
Bayern Munich, of course, were very grateful to their fellow Bavarians, as that result, coupled with a 5-0 drubbing of Wolfsburg, helped Carlo Ancelotti's men move to the top of the table. Although joint-tied on 33 points, die Roten sit ahead thanks to a superior goal difference. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund will hope to rebound from a frustrating draw with Koln as they take on Hoffenheim.
With Leipzig falling to their first loss, die Kraichgauer are the only unbeaten side in the Bundesliga. They could find it hard to make it a 14th game sans defeat against die Schwarzgelben, who with 32 goals are the second-most prolific side in the division so far.
