Following a deal that was agreed through SportA, the rights-buying agency for ARD, a total of 15 matches from the German Cup are shown on ARD each season, including the final in Berlin every May.
German Cup matches are aired live on ARD’s linear TV channel and their online streaming platform, ARD Mediathek, which is available on all iOS and Android mobile phones and tablets. German Cup highlights are also available on ARD throughout the season, with all coverage coming with German language commentary.
