Under this agreement, the Nigerian state radio broadcasting organization delivers live match commentary, analysis, and exclusive interviews with players, coaches, and league officials.
This broadcast rights deal was struck to bring nationwide coverage of the Nigerian top-flight league, including rural areas, thanks to the accessibility of radio. FRCN, established in 1978, is available across Nigeria with over 30 FM stations and more than five zonal stations.
This includes FM stations in Abuja and Lagos, such as Kapital FM 92.9, Power FM 100.5, Radio One FM 103.5, and more. Additionally, fans in Nigeria can listen to live radio broadcasts of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) on FRCN online, either on its official website or via third-party radio apps.

Radio Nigeria is the flagship network of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), created in 1978 after the merger of national and regional services. The broadcaster runs FM stations across all 36 states, supported by zonal centres in Ibadan, Yenagoa, Enugu, Maiduguri, Makurdi, and Kaduna, along with two operations hubs.Its output is carried on FM, mediumwave, and shortwave bands, combining national distribution with local contributions.
