The 15th edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup will be played in three different countries for the first time in history. Jamaica and Costa Rica will be hosting two games each, while the rest of the competition will be held in the United States.
These changes, along with the involvement of two debutants (Bermuda and Guyana), will surely make the 2019 edition of this tournament one of the best in history.
Group C of the competition will have one of the aforementioned co-hosts competing in it. Jamaica will host two key games, including the matchup between the Reggae Boyz and Los Catrachos. How will Honduras, El Salvador and Curacao adapt to this atypical setting, in which they will have to travel to a different country during the course of the tournament in order to determine their future?
Let's have a closer look at all teams included in Group C of the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Honduras
Los Catrachos have always been considered as a tough team to beat, and at times, as title contenders. Unfortunately for the Central American side, they have never won the tournament. With Fabian Coito at the helm, La H will have to deal with the pressure of being the favorite to win the group, and also, try to cement the grounds for the future, since the majority of their players are approaching the end of their international careers. Their match against Jamaica on Matchday 1 will be key to win the group, especially since they will play as an away team against the Reggae Boyz.

Jamaica
The Reggae Boyz will host two Gold Cup games for the first time ever, and they will try to make them count. The yellow and black side gets to this game with an impressive team, led by Darren Mattocks and Leon Bailey, which will give headaches to the other members of this Group. Jamaica has collectedf two straight silver medals in this competition, but will they be able to go the last mile and join the elite list of CONCACAF Gold Cup winners?

El Salvador
Los cuscatlecos welcomed back former coach Carlos de los Cobos at the helm, which might give their fans an idea on how they will play. A well-balanced team with sparks of good football up front, but the main goal for the Central Americans will be replacing Rodolfo Zelaya, one of their best players of all time, and who will have to watch this competition at home. Only time will tell if his absence will be crucial to see Los Cuscatlecos fail or succeed this summer.

Curacao
The team from the Caribbean will be playing its second CONCACAF Gold Cup. Back in 2017, it was three games and goodbye for the team then-coached by Patrick Kluivert. This year, coach Remko Bicentini will rely on the skills of experienced players such as Cuco Martina (Feyenoord), Leandro Bacuna (Cardiff City), and Charlison Benschop (Ingolstadt) to try and reach the KO stage of this competition for the first time in history.
