Laurent Blanc’s crew took on the Les Rouge et Blanc on the back of their 9-0 thrashing of Troyes last Sunday, a win which secured Les Parisiens their fourth consecutive league crown.
However, their weekend clash did not go as planned, as they fell to an unexpected 2-0 defeat in front of their own crowd.
The Parc des Princes defeat was Ibrahimovic and Co.’s first home loss since May 2014, as the Swedish striker missed several opportunities to find the back of the net.
It looks like the mega-rich European side will have to wait a while longer to celebrate winning the league with their supporters in true fashion.
