How fantastic does it seem for minnows Zilina to reach the group stages of the UEFA Champions League to play giants like Chelsea?
Midfielder Robert Jez talked to UEFA.com this week as he explained how it felt for the Slovakian team to be part of Europe’s biggest club competition. He was quoted as saying:

“To qualify [for the Champions League] means a lot for the club like for the town. This achievement has put us on the football map.

“It’s extraordinary since everyone knows that Zilina is a small club. Progressing into the Champions League is a great success. I’m proud of my team mates. This will go down in the history of the club.

As the open their UEFA Champions League campaign, Zilina will play Chelsea in Slovakia on Wednesday. Looking forward to the match, Robert Jez declared:

“We’re all dreaming about the match against Chelsea. I’m such a big fan of Frank Lampard! But all the players at Chelsea are great too.

“In a couple of weeks time, we’ll be playing in England and I think this will come as a massive experience. We’re all looking forward to playing as Stamford Bridge.”

In the meantime, Zilina will start their UEFA Champions League campaign with a home match against Chelsea. Just as John Terry and Ashley Cole will, Frank Lampard is set to miss the match through injury, though.

Will Zilina find space to upset the Blues who have recorded fantastic results this season?
