The 29-year-old Real Madrid attacker's looks has become a hot topic recently, with another football star following suit of Manuel Neuer in blasting the Portuguese ace.

Everyone seems to be taking a jab at “pretty boy” Ronaldo nowadays.

On Monday, Germany and Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who is in contention with the Real Madrid star for the 2014 Ballon d'Or, named in the 23-man shortlist, blasted the Portuguese ace when discussing his chances of winning the prestigious award, saying in an interview:

"I'm simply a goalkeeper, not a spokesman for a brand. I'm not the kind of guy who poses in his underpants, and I prefer to have people talking about me because of how I perform inside the pitch. I don't like the red carpet, I prefer the green turf. I feel better on the pitch trying to be the best I can be."

Now, another football player has taken aim at the former Manchester United winger, this time in the form of female Irish striker Stephanie Roche.

Nominated for this year's Puskas Award, alongside Paris Saint-Germain attacker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, New York Red Bulls forward Tim Cahill, and Red Devils striker Robin van Persie, the 25-year-old poked fun at Ronaldo's looks, claiming to have less beauty products than 29-year-old Portugal captain.

"I don't think I am vain as Ronaldo," Roche said whilst speaking to ESPN Brasil. "He has more beauty products than me in his toilet bag!"

Of course, despite his off-the-pitch antics coming under attack, Ronaldo's on-pitch form remains untouchable.

The two-time Ballon d'Or recipient, who has scored a whopping 18 goals in La Liga's first 10 games, has clinched numerous accolades since his side's 4-1 win over Atletico Madrid in last season's Champions League final in Lisbon, and has just recently broke the all-time goalscoring record in European Championships, on Friday.

Is he well on his way to a second consecutive Ballon d'Or title?
