The Super Eagles look to get flying in their away clash against Bafana Bafana for their second AFCON 2015 qualifying match.

Reigning AFCON champions Nigeria suffered a shock in their first qualifying match as they seek to retain their title. For the first time in over three decades, the Super Eagles were on the losing end on their home turf as they fell to a 3-2 defeat to Congo, a team that many had expected them to easily brush past. Meanwhile it was a historic day of celebration for Congo's Red Devils as Thievy Bifouma's brace and Prince Oniangue was enough to give them a vital win for a team whose sole continental title came back in 1970.

It was a moment to forget for coach Stephen Keshi as Nigeria will now be looking to put that poor performance behind them as they face off against yet another team that has had a poor record versus them. Although overally South Africa have found things tough against Nigeria, after their own impressive showing and their opponents' lackluster display, the hosts might be fancying their chances against the three-time AFCON winners.

The hosts easily cruised to a comfortable 3-0 win against Sudan and while the Super Eagles will certainly be a much tougher opponent, they are still without their no. 1 man between the posts as Vincent Enyeama is still not available due to personal reasons. As a result, the 2010 World Cup hosts will take note of Congo's surprise win and hope to cause an upset of their own in front of their own fans.
