Both players were key for Manchester United's fourth consecutive win against Crystal Palace, keeping the Red Devils' Champions League hopes intact.

Manchester United has enough reasons to thank Marouane Fellaini and David De Gea for their performances today. While the goalkeeper kept his team alive with his awesome saves, the Belgian player scored the game-winning goal for a team that was coming off three losses, giving United some room to breathe in their fourth place race against Liverpool.

Juan Mata scored the go ahead goal for United via a penalty kick, only to have Jason Puncheon cancelling the visitors' early lead. When the Eagles dominated the game, making a second goal for them more than possible, Julian Speroni failed to clear a cross by Ashley Young, giving Fellaini the chance to tap in the game winner.

United struggled due to injuries to Luke Shaw and Wayne Rooney, giving Falcao and Jonny Evans the chance to play. Although Van Gaal's team managed to win this game, it will be crucial for them to have Rooney back, since Shaw had to be stretchered out before the first half ended.
