Fans in Germany can stream all DFB Pokal matches on RTL+, RTL’s subscription-based streaming service, from the 2026-27 season through the 2029-30 season. This follows RTL Group’s acquisition of Sky Deutschland, which holds exclusive pay-TV rights to all German cup games.

RTL initially struck a free-to-air rights deal with the German Football Association (DFB) to broadcast 15 top games live on the free RTL channel and on RTL+. However, after RTL Group acquired Sky, RTL announced that all DFB Pokal matches would be available on RTL+.

To stream live DFB Pokal games in Germany, viewers need the RTL+ app and the necessary subscription. Additionally, fans can watch the German cup on the RTL+ website after subscribing to the streaming service.

The RTL+ app is available for download on Android and iOS devices and is compatible with Amazon Fire TV Stick and Box, Telekom MagentaTV set-top boxes, Chromecast, AirPlay, Roku, and major smart TV brands such as LG, Samsung, Hisense, and Panasonic.

Meanwhile, fans can stream the DFB Pokal on the RTL+ website via a PC or Mac. Subscribers gain access to more than just live game coverage, as RTL also provides match highlights to its viewers.

Sky Deutschland holds the official broadcast rights to the DFB Pokal in Switzerland. The deal covers seasons 2026-2030.
