How to watch La Liga in USA

ABC carries selected LaLiga matches as part of ESPN's exclusive United States rights package. Its schedule is limited and changes during the season, so ABC should be treated as an occasional broadcast option rather than a way to watch every match.

Selected match coverage

ESPN chooses certain LaLiga fixtures for broadcast on ABC, including occasional matches involving the league's leading clubs. A specific match or rivalry, including El Clásico, should not be assumed to air on ABC unless it appears in the confirmed schedule.

Matches selected for ABC are also normally available through ESPN's streaming coverage. A separate Spanish-language presentation may be carried on ESPN Deportes or through the ESPN app, depending on the match.

How to watch ABC

Viewers who receive a local ABC station can watch any scheduled LaLiga broadcast through that station. ESPN Unlimited also includes ESPN on ABC through the ESPN app, while ESPN Select provides access to the complete LaLiga streaming schedule without the ABC linear channel.

ESPN is the exclusive United States rights holder for LaLiga through the 2028-29 season and provides coverage of all 380 matches. Every game is streamed live in English and Spanish, with selected fixtures also appearing on ESPN's television and broadcast networks.

Complete streaming coverage

ESPN Select includes the full ESPN+ content library and every LaLiga match. ESPN Unlimited also includes this coverage and adds live access to ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Deportes and ESPN on ABC, among other ESPN networks.

ESPN continues to use the ESPN+ name for parts of its content library and on some match listings. Current direct subscriptions are offered through the ESPN Select and ESPN Unlimited plans.

Live matches and replays

All league matches are available live with English- and Spanish-language commentary. The rights agreement also includes on-demand replay coverage, although viewers should check individual listings for availability and language options.
