About Scottish League Two
The Scottish League Two is the fourth-division league of the SPFL (Scottish Professional Football League). A total of 10 teams compete in this division, with the champion earning automatic promotion to the Scottish League One (the third division). The clubs that finish second, third, and fourth join the ninth-placed League One side in a playoff to decide who plays in the third division the following season. Similarly, the bottom-placed team in the Scottish League Two enters a two-legged relegation playoff to determine whether they drop down or retain their spot in the fourth division.
