About Premier League of Belize
History, Format, Organization, Media Coverage
The Premier League of Belize is the top division league in the country of Belize. This competition was founded in 2011 after the Belize Premier Football League and the Super League of Belize merged.
The campaign typically lasts from August to May and within that campaign, two seasons are held: the opening season, which takes plays towards the end of one calendar year, and the closing season, which occurs during the beginning of the following calendar year. Each season follows a double round-robin format and crowns its own champion, i.e. Opening Season Champions and Closing Season Champions.
