beIN Sports Connect Australia is an online streaming service owned and operated by the beIN Group. It was launched in 2014 around the world, and it is available for free to all pay-tv users that have hired the service. Furthermore, there are monthly and annual subscriptions available for users who are not interested in a pay-tv subscription.
The group has made a name for itself after buying broadcasting rights to some of the top football competitions in the world. Added to those rights, beIN Sports Australia has aired or streamed sports such as rugby, tennis, handball, and more. Due to rights restrictions in New Zealand, some of those sports may not be available in that country, even if they can be viewed in Australia.
Speaking about football, beIN Sports Connect Australia has streamed the following competitions in the past: English League Cup, Ligue 1, German Bundesliga, Major League Soccer, Italian Serie A, La Liga, and the Scottish Professional Football League. There have been international football competitions streamed in this platform, including the UEFA Women’s Champions League, the Copa Libertadores, the Copa Libertadores, and the Copa América. The platform usually opens as many streams as needed to provide full coverage of all events taking place at the same time, but the user may only stream one event on any given device.
beIN Sports Connect Australia is available to use on a computer (Windows and Mac), on mobile devices working with Android or iOS, on Google Chromecast and on video game consoles such as PlayStation. beIN Sports Connect Australia will provide access to all content aired on the network’s TV channels, both live and on-demand.
