As her internet popularity rises, one must ask himself, who exactly is Eva Carneiro?

The popular Chelsea physiotherapist was born in Gibraltar with a Spanish and English heritage. She studied in England and Australia and worked at the British Olympic Medical Institute, where she helped athletes at the Beijing Olympics.

Eva Carneiro joined Chelsea’s staff in 2009 as a reserve-team doctor, despite being a Real Madrid fan. She was soon brought on to the 1st team by Villas-Boas. The Gibraltarian became a major highlight during the Champions League semifinal match between Atletico Madrid and Chelsea.

At the Vicente Calderon, Carneiro had to come on the field first to treat Cech’s dislocated shoulder and afterward to treat Terry’s injury. Although she has been on most local fans’ radars for a while, Eva’s most recent appearance sparked an international interest.
