Bayern Munich, Germany's Bundesliga champions, are preparing to face Manchester United in the Champions League on Wednesday. The encounter was expected to have been sealed at the Old Trafford but with the Red Devils putting in a brave performance, it has got the Bavarian outifts cautious of a possible shocking Champions League exit.
It is due to this that Bayern Munich are fighting to make sure their team suffers no setbacks or they might meet the same result they got when the last Manchester side, Manchester City, faced them and that was a loss.
With that in mind, yesterday was a nightmare of a day for Pep Guardiola's men as their game against Augsburg dealt two huge blows ahead of the quarter-finals second leg game againts Manchester United.
Bayern Munich had seen their long and well known unbeaten run come to an end after they fell to a shock loss at the hands of Bundesliga side Augsburg. This was Bayern's first loss in 53 games (18 months), their first since their 2-1 loss to Bayern Leverkusen in October 2012.

The bad news pilled on as it was revealed after the game that Bayern Munich's Swiss winger Xherdan Shaqiri picked up a thigh injury and will most probably not make the Manchester United clash. This is a huge blow to Guardiola's men as they needed all the players they had, given Schweinsteiger and Javi Martinez's absence due to suspension and Thiago Alcantara's injury.

Can Pep still win with their injury worries or is this Moyes' golden opportunity?
