Both Arsenal and Everton come into this match in fine form. NBC Sports Network will bring you all the action live from the Emirates on Sunday, November 8th.

Arsenal and Everton will clash in the biggest match of the Premier League on December 8, 2013.Preview: Gunners can go seven points clear with a victory on Sunday

Whether you believe it or not, at the moment, Arsenal may be starting to change some doubters into believers. With a four point gap at the top of the table, the North London side will have a chance to jump out to a seven point lead, if they are to overcome a very confident and strong Everton side.

After losing their match at Old Trafford, Arsene Wenger's side has rebounded well, having won their last three Premier League matches.

From those three fixtures, Arsenal has earned themselves three cleansheets, while scoring seven goals in the process. They will try to keep their solid defensive record intact on Sunday afternoon, against an Everton side that has only lost once this season, and they are coming off a historic victory at Old Trafford.

The last time the Toffees defeated Arsenal at home was in 1996, when Graham Stuart and Andrei Kanchelskis scored the goals, to take all three points back to Goodison Park. On Sunday, they will lean on the likes of Romelu Lukaku, who leads the team with eight goals in the Premier League.

But despite Arsenal's early success, Arsene Wenger does not want to allow his players, nor the fans to get over excited, and lose focus that there is still a lot of work to be done.

"I don't think there is a danger because we are hungry, we want to win, and we have just put a few results together that will make us more ambitious, but as well conscious that in every single game that you need to put a top level performance in," Wenger told the club's official website.

Just like Arsenal, Roberto Martinez's side is playing with a lot of confidence, and they have adapted well to the former Wigan manager's philosophy.

"We had to break that mentality and I thought we were outstanding in the manner in which we played the game," he said on Everton's official website. "This squad has shown that it has got the arrogance and belief to work hard and make our fans proud and that's very important to us."

This clash between the league leader's and a fifth placed Everton promises to be one of the more exciting matches of the weekend.

Missing from this match will likely be Bacary Sagna, who is battling a hamstring injury. In his absence, Wenger would be forced to start Carl Jenkinson, who played mid-week against Hull City.

Roberto Martinez could welcome back summer signing Antolin Alcaraz, who has just returned to full fitness, but it is unknown if he will fit for the first-team.
