NEW YORK – May 2, 2012 – NBC Sports Network’s coverage of Major League Soccer continues this weekend when Seattle Sounders FC host the Philadelphia Union Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET.

COMMENTATORS: The NBC Sports Group MLS announce team of Arlo White (@arlowhite, play-by-play), and Kyle Martino (@kylemartino, “Between the Benches” analyst) will call the game. Paul Burmeister will host the pre-game, halftime and post-game segments live from CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Wash.

WHITE AND MARTINO BREAK DOWN THE MATCHUP:

WHITE ON THE SOUNDERS FC: “CenturyLink Field will be rocking on Saturday afternoon to the tune of 38,000 raucous Sounders fans. They create an atmosphere like no other in MLS and the Sounders have so many attacking threats. Strikers Fredy Montero and Eddie Johnson are a real handful in attack, and I don't think there is a more skillful player in MLS than the Argentine winger Mauro Rosales.”

WHITE ON THE UNION: “Philadelphia has grabbed a couple of key victories in recent weeks, but they need to overcome the absence of their charismatic coach Peter Nowak, who is suspended. Freddy Adu isn't fazed by the Sounders hoards. He scored in a 2-0 win there for Philadelphia last season.”

MARTINO ON THE GAME: “Can Seattle get their goal scorer Freddy Montero to start finding the net, and can Philly get anyone to find the net? At least we know the atmosphere will not let anyone down.”
