The English footballer explained why he was nowhere to be found this week at Tottenham's training complex while also sharing his feelings after how fans reacted.

Ever since Harry Kane told the world he was willing to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer, every move he has made has been taken as a sign of trying to pressure the club to let him leave. In that spirit, Kane's absence from the club's training sessions this week did not go down well among Spurs' fans, but some of them went out of line.

Earlier today, the striker felt the need to voice his thoughts on social media, and he questioned some of the comments fans uttered against him, which questioned his commitment to the team and his career. Kane's words also tried to erase the thought of him trying to push for an exit, since he is still committed to the team even if there are offers for his services.

Here is Kane's statement.

The 28-year-old striker, who joined Tottenham for good in the 2013-14 season, has scored 221 goals with Spurs in 336 games across all comps. Before the end of last season, he stated his desire to win trophies, and he admitted that leaving the club was not off the table. Since then, his future has been linked to Manchester City and other clubs, although there have been no offers for his services as of today.
