This week will feature games from the NWSL, as well as some international friendlies.

The main focus over the next few days naturally will be the NWSL, which is currently in full swing. In addition, fans of women's football can also enjoy some international friendlies as well as ties from the top leagues in Scandinavia.

Here's all you need to know ahead of another week of women's football.

NWSL

Matchday 12 of the 2023 NWSL season gets underway on Saturday, June 17th, with San Diego Wave welcoming Angel City. The Wave are presently top of the table, with their slightly better goal difference serving as the tie-breaker to keep them ahead of Washington Spirit, while Angel City are second from last in the seasons after a torrid start to the season.

Given that they play first, the Wave could be three points clear of the chasing pack by the time the next batch of games rolls around. Saturday features a triple header, with North Carolina Courage facing Orlando Pride after the San Diego Wave-Angel City game as the former aims to put some pressure on the top four sides, and concludes with an interesting game starring Houston Dash and OL Reign.

On Sunday, the action continues with another triple-header. First up will be a tie featuring Racing Louisville, who currently sit in ninth, squaring off against Gotham FC, who presently sit in fifth. Next, Chicago Red Stars will face a likely tough exam when Portland Thorns come to town, and last, but certainly not least, last-placed Kansas City Current will take on Washington Spirit, with the latter aiming to keep pace with league leaders San Diego Wave.
