All 63 matches from the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 (CWC), from the opening game on 15 June to the final on 13 July, can be streamed live on DAZN in Italy.

The online streaming platform has agreed to a $1bn deal with FIFA to become the tournament’s exclusive broadcaster across the world. Fans in Italy with a free membership to DAZN are able to watch all Club World Cup matches on the platform, as the broadcaster is declining the opportunity to put the tournament behind a paywall.
More details

All matches from the tournament remain on DAZN for 30 days after they first air, while a highlights show is produced after each round of fixtures, which compiles all the goals and other key moments. All CWC content on DAZN in Italy comes with commentary in Italian.
DAZN holds UEFA Champions League broadcast rights until 2027 in various European countries, including Germany and Portugal.
DAZN has retained its exclusive digital LaLiga rights in Italy from 2024 until 2029 after a five-year extension deal. The over-the-top (OTT) provider has held rights to Spanish football’s top flight in Italy since 2018 and streams all 380 matches per season live and on-demand on its subscription-based platform.

LaLiga fans in Italy can select one of two subscription options: Standard and Plus. The Standard option allows viewers to watch live and on-demand matches simultaneously on two registered devices, provided they are connected to the same home network. Although fans can stream games while away from home, they can only do this when the other registered device is not in use. Meanwhile, the Plus option also allows viewers to stream LaLiga games live and on-demand on two registered devices. However, unlike the Standard option, the Plus option allows viewers to stream games away from home even when the other registered device is used at the home network.

In addition, viewers can watch LaLiga matches on DAZN 1 and DAZN 2 if they already have a Sky subscription with an active satellite decoder. Another option for watching games is tivùsat, which is available for fans whose internet connection is not strong enough to stream content. Fans who already don’t use tivùsat can purchase a device and activate the corresponding DAZN option.

Subscribers can choose from a pay-as-you-go monthly plan, an annual plan (with payments spread over 12 months), or pay in full at the start of each yearly plan as a one-off payment. Both the Standard and Plus plans are accessible on multiple devices, including mobiles and tablets (both iOS and Android), smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Android TV), streaming devices (Google Chromecast, Apple TV), PCs, Macs, and gaming devices (Xbox and PlayStation).
All Serie A matches are shown live on DAZN to fans in Italy as part of a deal that multiple broadcasters signed ahead of the 2024-25 season.

As part of the deal, 266 of the 380 Serie A matches each season are streamed exclusively live on DAZN via their website and app until the end of the 2028-29 season.
More details Fans can download the Dazn app onto their iOS and Android devices and stream the live Italian football league matches.

The additional 114 Serie A matches are also shown on DAZN but on a non-exclusive basis. The streaming service additionally provides highlights of each game shortly after they finish.

Football fans in Italy may stream DAZN’s live Serie A matches via TimVision, a separate streaming service.
DAZN has obtained Supercoppa Italiana rights in the DACH region, offering Italian, English, and German broadcasts. The multi-year agreement runs until 2029 in the DACH region.
DAZN holds live Liga Portugal Betclic streaming rights in several countries internationally, including Austria, Germany, Italy, Japan and Switzerland, until the end of the 2025-26 season.
Football fans in Italy can watch Liga Portugal Betclic matches exclusively on DAZN. DAZN airs the most important matches of each matchday of the Liga Portugal Betclic, the Portuguese top division, for the three-year period 2023-26. Matches featuring FC Porto, Benfica and Sporting Lisbon are broadcast live and on-demand on DAZN Italy in Full HD throughout the 34 rounds of fixtures every season.
More details The package also includes highlights of all matches among the 18 Liga Portugal first-division teams for each matchday.

With an active DAZN subscription, fans can watch the top three clubs in the Portuguese Primeira Liga (Benfica, Porto, and Sporting Lisbon) wherever and whenever they want. They only need an internet connection and one of the many devices compatible with the DAZN app, including Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.
DAZN has secured FA Cup media rights in Italy from 2022 to 2025. The subscription-based streaming service provides digital coverage of live and on-demand FA Cup matches on multiple screens. Devices compatible with DAZN’s FA Cup streams include: mobiles and tablets (both iOS and Android), smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Android TV), streaming devices (Google Chromecast, Apple TV), PCs, Macs, and gaming devices (Xbox and PlayStation).
More details

Subscribers in Italy can either select the “Standard” or “Plus” plan to stream FA Cup matches. The “Standard” plan lets fans watch live and on-demand matches on two registered devices simultaneously, provided that they are connected to the same home network. Although fans can stream games while away from home, they can only do this when the other registered device is not being used. Viewers can connect up to six devices on one account under the “Standard” plan.

The “Plus” plan also allows fans to stream FA Cup matches live and on-demand on two registered devices. Unlike the “Standard” option, the “Plus” option also allows viewers to stream games away from home even when the other registered device is being used at the home network and lets subscribers connect up to seven devices. However, the “Standard” and “Plus” packages are designed for people living in the same household and cannot be shared across people in different locations.

Both the “Standard” and “Plus” plans offer different payment options, with subscribers able to choose from either a monthly pay-as-you-go, annual contract (with payments split over 12 months), or an annual contract (with the whole payment due at the time of signing).

Additionally, FA Cup fans in Italy can stream matches using tivùsat. This service is available for viewers whose internet connection is not strong enough to stream content. Subscribers who don’t use tivùsat can purchase a device and activate the corresponding DAZN option to begin immediately watching FA Cup games and bonus content.
DAZN has secured Coppa Italia rights for viewers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland from 2024 until the end of the 2028-29 season. This deal allows DAZN subscribers to watch all Coppa Italia matches on multiple devices.

About

DAZN Italia history, coverage, features

DAZN’s launch ahead of the 2018/19 season in Italy marked the first ever exclusive deal between the Serie A and a pure live and on-demand streaming service. At the time it began operations in Italy, DAZN had on offer a package of 114 live Serie A games per season and highlights to all season matches, available to its subscribers for EUR 9.99 month. As with DAZN networks in other territories, all live Serie A streams were made available online, on smartphones, tablets, PCs, Macs and gaming consoles.

Soon after its entry, DAZN Italy announced it had secured broadcast deals for other major football competitions, including the Spanish La Liga, English FA Cup, EFL Cup, French Ligue 1 and CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores.

In March 2019, DAZN was hit with a EUR 500,000 fine, following claims from antitrust authority AGCM indicating that the network had breached Italy’s consumer code.

More on DAZN networks

DAZN is a subscription-based OTT sports streaming service with thousands of hours of live events every year, covering multiple sports disciplines, including football. It provides catch-up and on-demand services as well, and supports a wide range of devices from different platforms.

It is owned and operated by DAZN Group, formerly known as Perform Group until September 2018, when the global sports media company was split into two brands—namely DAZN Group and Perform Content.

Dubbed as the “Netflix of Sports”, DAZN has constantly been enriching its team of leading members, in attempts to enter newer markets and deepen their existing sports coverage. It operates offices in London, Berlin, and Tokyo, among other cities around the world.

With its focus being on providing comprehensive sports streaming services across many regions, DAZN boasts a massive portfolio of TV rights. It has retained exclusive broadcast deals to some of football’s largest club competitions and international tournaments, whereas other aspects of their coverage have come as results of sub-license deals involving other broadcasters.

Some of the important games DAZN has managed to stream since its launch in various markets include live UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Super Cup and UEFA Women’s Champions League matches in Europe. On the international scene, its history of live football streaming includes coverage around the FIFA Club World Cup, CAF Champions League and Copa Libertadores.

It has successfully participated in the online coverage of international events such as the FIFA Women’s World Cup, Africa Cup of Nations, CONCACAF Gold Cup and UEFA Euro Qualifiers. Broadcast rights it has secured for its online and mobile platforms have included top European leagues and domestic competitions, such as the Spanish La Liga, Spanish Copa del Rey, English Premier League, English FA Cup, French Ligue 1, Italian Serie A, Portuguese Primeira Liga, J1 League, Chinese Super League, and the American Major League Soccer.

Airing over 8,000 sports events on PC, Mac, tablets, smartphones, smart TVs and game consoles every year, fans of other sports have also had access to high-quality streams live and on demand. Other disciplines regularly available on DAZN include American Football, Baseball, Basketball, Cricket, Motorsport, Rugby and Tennis.

In most territories in which DAZN operates, streams of live football (soccer) matches are usually available on demand after the match has been originally aired. This may however not apply to all competitions. In markets where broadcast rights are shared with other broadcasters, the live feed may be taken from a partner network. For all streams, subscribers have the ability to play, pause and rewind, and are exempt from commercial interruptions. Due to rights restrictions, nevertheless, broadcast rights secured by a DAZN network in a specific territory may not necessarily be inherited by sister networks in other countries.

Regarding streaming on mobile devices, DAZN supports all models of the Fire HD from the 4th Generation and above, which means that streams are available for 6-inch screens and larger. For Android phones and tablets, Android version 4.4 is required. Android TV users are recommended to keep their device up to date as well for a smooth streaming experience.

Users on iOS are compelled to use at least iPhone 5 or the 6th Gen of the iPod Touch–or if they are on tablets, iPad 4 or newer is required. All devices must run at least iOS 10. Mirroring of streams by connecting iPhones and iPads to TVs via HDMI or AirPlay is also possible.

Early in 2019, DAZN updated its Apple TV app to add a multi-view option. This feature enables owners of fourth-generation Apple TVs or Apple TV 4Ks to watch up to four streams simultaneously. The first to third generation of Apple TVs are not supported by the service.

For Amazon Fire TV, DAZN requires anything from the first generation or above, the second generation or newer for Fire TV 4K, or any Amazon Fire TV Stick. Viewers wanting to cast the streams from their smartphones to their TVs via Chromecast are recommended to have a USB power source on their smart TV that states 5V1a or 5V 0.5a, to be guaranteed that DAZN will work as expected.

Subscribers with LG Smart TVs can download the DAZN app from the LG Content Store; however, accepted webOS models start from 2015. Options are plentiful for Panasonic TV users, as DAZN supports over 100 models from 2014 and beyond. Samsung Smart TV owners in eligible territories are in a similar position, with all models from 2015 onwards being compatible with the app version available in the Samsung app store.

HiSense Smart TV users may enjoy DAZN streams on models from 2018, at least. For subscribers in Germany and Austria, DAZN content may be accessed through their Sky Q boxes. Game console users are advised to download the DAZN app for both Sony PlayStation and Xbox. Supported models for these devices include PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One S and Xbox One X.

Minimum internet download speed requirements to stream DAZN in SD on smartphones is 2.0 Mbps. For HD quality, 3.5 Mbps is needed, or 6.0 Mbps if streaming is on a TV. For optimal quality and high frame rates, nonetheless, DAZN recommends at least 8.0 Mbps. Virtual Private Networks (VPN) or proxy servers are not supported.

On PC, subscribers may choose to stream directly from their browser, using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge—or Safari on Mac. Microsoft Internet Explorer users are expected to use at least Version 11.

Pub owners in Germany may request for access to dedicated DAZN channels HD1 & 2, as these are reserved for commercial purpose and sold via Sky Deutschland. Individual users have room for more flexibility in their subscriptions, which may include cross-border portability. DAZN offers the latter as a special feature for subscribers in select countries, allowing them to take their home subscription across borders while travelling within the EU.
