The teenager enteredDie Mannschaft's record books with his appearance against Oman on Wednesday night.

Yousoffa Moukoko has made history by becoming the youngest-ever debutant for Germany in over 68 years. At the age of 17 years and 361 days, the striker was made to lead the attack in his side's World Cup preparation game against Oman on Wednesday night.

Moukoko's impressive campaign with Borussia Dortmund this season rightfully earned him a call-up to be part of Germany's very young roster for the upcoming mundial in Qatar. In his 14 appearances for the Bundesliga club, the Cameroon-born forward has managed six goals and three assists, and has positioned himself as one of Europe's fast-rising talents.

Ahead of next Wednesday's World Cup opener against Japan, Germany took on Oman in a warm-up game which ended 1-0 in favor of the Europeans. However, Moukoko's inclusion in the starting line-up saw him become the country's fourth youngest debutant in all competition. Per the record books, Uwe Seeler (17y 345d) has held the record since 1954, having made his debut in West Germany's 3-1 defeat to France.
