The Bianconeri have been given a major boost ahead of their upcoming clash with Parma.

With the Scudetto a foregone conclusion, and having failed to progress in the Champions League for yet another season, the only trophy left for Juventus now is the Coppa Italia.

Although the Bianconeri won the Supercoppa Italiana, thus earning new manager Andrea Pirlo his first piece of silverware as a senior manager, it may not be enough to ensure he's the man on the tactician's bench next season.

In addition, Juventus aren't even guaranteed a spot in the Champions League next season. The Bianconeri currently sit in fourth spot and come into their upcoming clash with Parma having suffered a frustrating 1-0 loss to Atalanta. La Dea have managed to force their way into third spot due to, once again, managing to quietly string together a series of positive results as they look to qualify for the Champions League for the third straight season.

Andrea Pirlo's team, who have 62 points, now have Napoli lurking just behind in fifth spot in 60 points as well as Lazio, who also have been in great form, on 58 points. As such, they obviously can't afford to slip up again and should be in good stead as they take on the Crociati who have been in poor form lately.

They've also been given a huge boost as they seek to pick up all three points against their floundering visitors.

Namely, with the return of top goal scorer and Capocannoniere candidate Cristiano Ronaldo back to action. The 36-year-old missed Juve's loss over the weekend due to a muscular issue, but as per his boss, he should be back on the pitch for Wednesday's tie. As per the 2006 World Cup winner, his former teammate Gianluigi Buffon will also be back in action as well, but he isn't 100 per cent sure if Paulo Dybala, who has struggled for form and fitness all season, will be involved in the starting XI for the match at the Allianz Stadium.
