Cardiff City will be looking to continue their Premier League promotion challenge when they play host to Middlesbrough on Monday.
Cardiff are only one point behind second placed Norwich City who play at Portsmouth later in the day. After struggling for most of the season, Middlesbrough are now 14 points clear of the relegation zone and will be looking for their third straight win.

Norwich City can move to within one game of promotion to the Premier League if they win at Portsmouth on Saturday.

Leeds United and Burnley will clash at Elland Road on Saturday in a game with huge playoff implications.





Burnley are two points behind the playoff spots after a four game unbeaten run, while Leeds are one point further back after a five game winless streak. The loser of this game will likely be eliminated from the playoff race.





Striker Luciano Becchio is an injury doubt for Leeds, while Lloyd Sam will miss out with a knee problem.





Martin Paterson could return from a thigh injury for Leeds, while Dean Marney is likely to miss out with a knee injury.



Playoff contenders Nottingham Forest will be looking for their third straight win when they play host to struggling Scunthorpe United.





Sixth placed Forest have won their last two games by a 3-2 score line, while Scunthorpe need a win and results elsewhere to go their way to avoid relegation.





Paul Anderson is ruled out with injury for Forest, while Nathan Tyson could return from a thigh injury.

Vito Mannone, Corry Evans and Liam Rosenior are ruled out with injury for Hull, while Robert Koren is expected to return from a hamstring injury.





Palace midfielder Neil Danns scored the winning goal against Leeds but was later sent off and will be suspended for this game. Sean Scannell is also suspended while Alex Marrow is sidelined with injury. The Palace midfield will be boosted by the return of star midfielder Darren Ambrose, who has scored seven goals so far this season.



Reading can guarantee themselves a playoff place with a win or a draw when they travel to face Coventry City.





Both teams will enter this game looking to bounce back from an Easter Monday defeat. Mid-table Coventry were beaten 2-1 at Middlesbrough five days ago, while Reading suffered a shock 3-2 home defeat to Sheffield United.





Andy Thorn will be taking charge of his first game since becoming Coventry manager on a permanent basis. Thorn is sweating on the fitness of leading goal scorer Marlon King and Chris Hussey who are both injury doubts.





Star winger Jimmy Kebe is expected to recover from a thigh injury in time to play for Reading. Striker Noel Hunt will feature in the Reading attack and has scored two goals in his last three games.



Preston North End have been officially relegated and will be playing for pride when they travel to face struggling Ipswich Town.





Mid-table Ipswich are safe from relegation but have lost their last two games by a combined score of 9-2, that run has include a 5-1 battering at the hands of bitter rivals Norwich City.





Mark Kennedy will return for Ipswich, while Gareth McAuley and Connor Wickham are ruled out. Jimmy Bullard and Darren O’Dea are also sidelined with injury for the Tractor Boys.





Preston face a defensive crisis with Sean St Ledger, Conor McLaughlin, David Gray and Leon Cort all out injured. Iain Hume is doubtful with a leg injury and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.
