As Arsenal prepare to host Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, Arshavin has reminded the public about his opinion. The English Premier League title is very much within Arsenal’s reach, he believes.
The Gunners are second behind Manchester United in the standings. Five points separate the two sides but Arsenal don’t only possess a game in hand; they also have a meeting against the Red Devils somewhere in their upcoming agenda.

“I think our schedule is not so bad,” Arshavin said according to Sky Sports News, “that is why, if we win all our games, we have a good chance to be champions.”

“I think everyone in our team would prefer to have more possibilities than only one trophy. But everything is in the past, that’s why we have to concentrate on Premier League matches.

“Straight after [our fiasco in other competitions] it was very difficult for everyone. But now we have come back after the internationals and we have refreshed our minds.

“Maybe this will help us. I think we are in the race.”

Arsenal have matches against Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United to play in their remaining Premier League fixtures. They’ve been boosted by the return to fitness of several players including Fabregas, Theo Walcott, Aaron Ramsey and even Robin van Persie.

The Dutch was reported to have sustained a very bad injury while we was on national duty with the Netherlands. However, Coach Arsene Wenger has now reassured fans by saying that “Van Persie has a good chance” of featuring against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
