After being held to a scoreless draw with Rangers in Eindhoven last week, PSV manager Fred Rutten insisted that his side must be able to show their winning mentality away from home tonight
The reigning Dutch champions battled a stalemate with Rangers last week and although there is still all to play for, Fred Rutten insisted that his side must be able to show their winning mentality and win the match as they seek to progress into the Europa League quarter finals.

He told the club's official website: "We’ve challenged the players to show they’ve made progress this season. We’ve already reached the round of 16. We failed to score a goal in Eindhoven last week and with that we could have made it a bit easier in the return game.

"However, we still have a decent chance to go through to the quarter-finals, following the 0-0 draw. We must show that winning mentality in order to progress to the final eight of the Europa League."

"We’ll be more concerned about a good result on Thursday night than about the beauty of the game," he said.

"This is a vital game, not just for the squad but also for the entire club. We realize reaching the next stage will be a great boost to the future of the club."
