The Belgian forward has dropped a major hint on his future.

Eden Hazard has all but confirmed his impending Chelsea exit ahead of his side's Wednesday UEFA Europa League Final against Arsenal. The 28-year-old playmaker is hoping to win the European title in what could be his final game with the Blues.

In recent years, Eden Hazard has been heavily linked with a transfer to Real Madrid and the Belgian is finally expected to join Los Blancos this summer. With just a year left of his current deal with Chelsea, the attacker has already made his intentions to depart clear and awaits his dream move to La Liga to be finalised.

The Chelsea No.10 stood tall amongst his teammates, scoring 16 goals and assisting 15 in a season that has been labeled as subpar for the Stamford Bridge outfit. With his departure yet to be formally sanctioned, the 2018/2019 PFA Playmaker of The Year insists that there will not be a better way to sign off than with a silverware.

"It is a European competition, so for me, for the club, for the manager, for the fans, it is something important," he said on Monday.

"When you play a final, it does not matter whether it is the Champions League, Europa League or League Cup, you just want to win, you just want to bring the trophy home and celebrate that.

"When you play for Chelsea at the start of the season, people think about which trophy we can have at the end of May, so this one is the important one.

"We lost the EFL Cup final, so at end of the season this is the trophy we can go for.

"I just want to win the trophy, that is it. It does not matter if I score or I do not score. If it is my last game, I hope to bring the trophy.

"Would it be the perfect farewell? Yes."

In related development, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is highly optimistic that Hazard will be a Real Madrid player this summer. A deal in excess €100m (£88m) of  is expected to be finalised after the Europa League Final.
