Matchweek seven of the Premier League is all but done, with only Crystal Palace's trip to Bournemouth yet to be played. The latest round produced wins for the likes of Man City, Arsenal, and Tottenham, with Liverpool's perfect start coming to an end.

The Red traveled to Chelsea on Saturday and appeared to be headed for their first English top-flight loss in 2018/19 until Sturridge scored a late equalizer to rescue a point. This result means the Citizens now lead the standings.

Eden Hazard scored once again, breaking the deadlock in the 1-1 draw with Liverpool. Not only did that strike keep him in the lead in the Golden Boot race, but it also saw him maintain an impressive conversion rate.

Liverpool's men miss out on Chelsea's record

After winning their first six Premier League games of the season, Liverpool was on the hunt for victory number seven. Unfortunately, Chelsea had other plans, bringing the Reds' perfect start to an end.

It also ended the Merseyside giant's pursuit of the record for most consecutive wins from the start of the season. Chelsea holds that honor with nine victories back in 2005/06.

The Tottenham striker now has 113 Premier League goals. That is level with Arsenal legend, Ian Wright. Kane, however, is only 24.

Newcastle hosted Leicester over the weekend but suffered yet another St. James' Park defeat, stretching their awful home run.

The games to look forward to in the next round

The excitement will continue in Matchweek 8. Arsenal will travel to newly-promoted Fulham for a London Derby while Man United will host Newcastle with the aim of returning to winning ways. The most anticipating tie, however, will be between Liverpool and Man City in Sunday's clash between second and first.
