Two back to back losses against the likes of Watford and Bournemouth have Antonio Conte's job up in the air as it's set to be a really difficult next few weeks for the Blues. Next up after this game is a FA Cup clash with Hull - which is a must-win for the the London giants, followed by a much-unwanted Champions League tie with none other than Lionel Messi and Barcelona next week.
Conte is also hoping to avoid losing three straight games in a row for the first time in nine years on Monday evening. However, he'll be missing Alvaro Morata due to a back injury, while midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, who has been slated recently by some fans due to some of his disappointing performances, misses out after getting sent off during Chelsea's 4-1 loss to Watford last round. Meanwhile, his fellow French international Olivier Giroud could potentially be handed his first start since making his move from Arsenal last month.
As for West Brom, they will certainly park the bus in an attempt to frustrate a Chelsea side who will be desperate to turn things around. The Baggies themselves are equally desperate for points, as they have lost their last two games and are firmly rooted to the bottom of the table. Naturally, the visitors will certainly look to Bournemouth for inspiration as they aim to try to take advantage of the Blues' poor performances as of late and try to stage what would be a major upset at Stamford Bridge.
