The German boss seemed unwilling to discuss the possibility of a departure by the Brazilian superstar.

So, Barcelona fans were already thinking about how their team would play with Philippe Coutinho on board? We're guessing they'll have to think again.

Speaking in a press conference earlier today, the German manager ruled out that the Brazilian ace will be leaving the entity anytime soon, as he recently penned a new contract with the Reds.

"When did he sign his new contract? In January. And he has a £400M buyout clause! Selling him is not in our plans. The owners have clearly stated that we don't have to sell anyone if we don't want to, meaning that we can keep players we can use and add some more to the squad," Klopp stated.

Coutinho has been crucial for Liverpool this season, scoring 11 goals and handing out 8 assists.

Despite the interest shown by Barcelona, Klopp went on and revealed that the team's transfer business this summer will be that of adding players, not selling those who contribute to the team.

"We want to bring in some 'fresh blood', but let me say that one more time: we won't sell any player or players if we don't want them to leave in the first place, so, I'm pretty calm about all those rumors," Klopp concluded.
