The Gunners look to maintain their good form vs. Hull

Arsenal are yet to register three wins in a row in 2016, meaning a win over Hull City will be their first hat-tricks of victories since the New Year after back-to-back wins over Watford and Southampton.

A recent run of good – bordering on fortunate – form could see a confident Gunners side grab victory over the Tigers, especially given that their last English Premier League game saw them earn their first home win of the season.

Back-to-back wins have stabilized the north London giants season, as they now occupy seventh spot with seven points. Uncertainty over the starting eleven, though, may jeopardize a shot at victory.

Lucas Perez will likely not start after his disappointing debut, but it’s any man’s guess as to whether Wenger will hand Giroud his first start of the season or continue with Alexis Sanchez as the lone forward.

Granit Xhaka could return to the starting eleven after missing out in Tuesday’s 1-1 draw at Parc des Princes, whilst Petr Cech is almost guaranteed to start. Both Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott are doubts and unlikely to feature.

Hull City, who has surprisingly fared well so far this season, have several players on the sidelines. Mike Phelan will be without Allan McGregor, Michael Dawson, Moses Odubajo, Alex Bruce, Greg Luer, and Brian Lenihan for the weekend tie.

New signing Ryan Mason missed out on a spot in the starting eleven in the 1-1 draw with Burnley, but the former Spurs midfielder could find himself in the lineup on Saturday.
