Broadcast info

Who's playing? The Mexican team returns to the pitch surrounded by controversy, especially since it's the first time playing in their home soil since that 7-0 blowout against Chile. El Tri could decide Honduras' fate in the Qualifiers, considering that Honduras needs to secure one point to make it to the Final round in the CONCACAF WCQ.

What time? Tuesday, September 6, at 19:00 PDT/ 21:00 CDT/ 22:00 EDT.

What stadium? Estadio Azteca, home of most of Mexico's games since its opening in 1966. The historic venue is being remodelled, which could end up hurting the box office with a low attendance rate.

After Friday's win against Canada, Honduras' manager Jorge Luis Pinto criticized the region's referees, and even requested that ref Mark Geiger didn't officiate the game, since he's had questionable performances in games where Mexico was involved. Days later, FIFA denied their request, but a complaint was filed to remove the ref.
