Fan violence continues to be the trending topic of UEFA Euro 2016, as supporters – mainly of England, Russia, and France – clashed on several occasions in the build-up to the tournament’s kick off and the encounter between the Three Lions and the Bears.
The 1-1 draw on Saturday saw supporters from both sides clash, with the Russian fans being accused of rushing the England faithful in Marseille after the final whistle came down on 1-1 draw at the Stade Velodrome.
Despite the severity of the clashes – both nations face competition bans from UEFA should the violence fail to cease – a Russian MP has reportedly gone out and publicly congratulated the fans for their part in the fighting.
This is according to Shaun Walker, a Moscow correspondent of The Guardian, who tweeted a comment made by the unnamed MP reportedly saying: "I don't see anything bad in the fans fighting. Quite the opposite: well done our lads!"

England will lock horns with Wales in their next tie, whilst Russia will take on Slovakia in their second group stage fixture.
