The German boss gave his thoughts on Wednesday’s derby, as Anfield gears up to host the Toffees.

On Wednesday, English Premier League giants Liverpool will host rivals Everton in one of the world’s most heated derby: the Merseyside derby.

The Reds head into the Anfield tie on the back of their 2-1 win over Bournemouth, whilst Everton are without a win in 6 Premier League games.

Jurgen Klopp’s men face a busy schedule of three games – including their clash with the Toffees – between Wednesday and next Thursday, with Liverpool set to welcome Newcastle on Saturday, before traveling to Villarreal on the 28th.

Nonetheless, the German boss is focused on the Everton game, claiming that there is nothing more important than derbies in football.
