The Spanish boss snubbed a question about the team's shape last Sunday after losing against Valencia, and today he showed no regret about it.

"No regrets", seems to be Luis Enrique's motto, even when the team is under fire and his general attitude while addressing the media is being followed closely.

Even if the team offered an apology to Diaro Gol after Luis Enrique's behaviour during Sunday's post-match press conference, the Spanish tactician denied he needed to apologize for snubbing journalist Victor Malo after he questioned his team's physical state.

The Blaugrana boss spoke about the incident today while talking about Wednesday's match against Deportivo, which could prove crucial to La Liga's title race. Referring to Sunday's incident, Luis Enrique feels that if he needs to apologize, then some members of the Spanish media should do so as well.

"I don't need to apologize. I know the world I'm living in, I know who I work for, I know what I have to do and what my obligations are, and I never disrespected anyone. In fact, many journalists disrespect professionals such as myself and I've never asked them to apologize, so, that's that. If you don't like my style or the way that I talk, I really couldn't care less. And I'm saying it like that to be polite," Luis Enrique stated.

Speaking about Wednesday's game, the Spanish manager acknowledged his players need to bounce back from a difficult situation, and the clash against Deportivo could be a good test for them.

"They're a team with a good number of options. Let's see what tactics their coach chooses. We have to keep trying, but we can't deny we're under pressure. Winning away from home will always be tough, especially considering our current situation," the coach added.
